A tzedakah box, also known in Yiddish as a pushke, is a receptacle for collecting money that is designated for charity. When it is full, the money is given to a person or organization in need.

The Hebrew word tzedakah comes from the root tzedek, meaning justice. Giving money and resources to those in need is understood to be an act of justice.

This one is made from ash, bloodwood, walnut, and maple, laser cut and designed with an attention to detail and quality.  A rubber stopper is fitted on the bottom.

Stands 5.75" tall, 3" wide and 2.5" deep.
