Global Citizen: The Architecture of Moshe Safdie explores the renowned architect’s work and philosophy. Published to accompany the exhibition of the same name, this catalogue guides viewers on a journey from Safdie’s groundbreaking Habitat for Expo ’67 in Montreal through subsequent projects in China, India, Singapore, and the U.S., showcasing his extraordinary career as a leading architect, urban planner, theorist, educator, and author.

The Skirball Cultural Center, which was Safdie’s first cultural commission in the United States, is featured prominently in this publication. It accompanied a traveling exhibition of the same name, organized by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in association with the Skirball.  It was on display at Skirball in 2013-14.
