Moshe David is from a long line of jewelers who hailed originally from the Bayhan region in Yemen. The family immigrated to Israel early part of the 20th century and still crafts today. At the age of 13 Moshe David began his first steps as a silversmith in “Maskit,” as an apprentice to his uncle, the famous artist Moshe Ben David. From his father, the artist Tzadok David, he acquired the traditional Bayhan techniques, including filigree work.
