The Bob Dylan Scrapbook 1956-1966


Part of a 100,000 first printing, this slip-cased scrapbook includes rare photographs, removable documents, and memorabilia offers insight into one of the musician's most eventful and formative periods, tracing his arrival in New York and emergence as one of the most distinctive voices of his time. The accompanying CD contains excerpts of early interviews and his 1965 performance at the Newport Folk Festival.

The Bob Dylan Scrapbook 1956-1966 creates a portrait of the iconic troubadour, subject of the exhibition Bob Dylan’s American Journey, 1956–1966, organized by Experience Music Project and presented at the Skirball in 2008.
