With its intricate motif of stylized flowers and vines, the design of this traditional hallah plate is based on Judaic manuscripts from the 1880s. The blue and white pattern is both historic and symbolic, as it recalls the traditional transferware technique from eighteenth-century Europe and reflects the colors of the state of Israel.
A beautiful, heirloom-quality gift for a wedding or other special occasion.
Includes a fitted, removable insert, which is slatted to conveniently hide bread crumbs! By removing the wooden insert, the plate can also be used as an elegant serving platter.
Plate made of porcelain, and slatted insert made of wood.
