Available in two cool, metallic-tone colors, these inventive toggle necklaces can be worn as a single long strand, doubled, or as a lariat.
These textured, bold beads are made from recycled newspapers and magazines using papier mache techniques. They are patiently rolled, sun dried, polished, and finished with metallic ecogreen paint and multiple coats of non-toxic water seal. Being handmade, sizes, shapes, or colors may vary slightly.
The Benitez Collection seeks to provide a sustainable form of livelihood to underemployed women in the Philippines while helping to save the environment through the use of recycle paper and plastic materials as well as through the use of non-toxic ecogreen paints. Proceeds go toward community development projects in partnership with foundation Gawad Kalinga and other NGOs.

Care instructions from the manufacturer: Water seal protects the jewelry from rain, regular hand washing, and perspiration. While water-resistant, this jewelry is not waterproof so please do not swim or shower while wearing. If it does come into contact with water, simply wipe off immediately.
