The Michael Aram Forest Leaf Collection is evocative of a natural environment transformed and redefined, just as the ancient Israelites redefined their homes, building sukkot of tree branches during the forty years after the Exodus. This hallah plate serves as a reminder of the sukkah and the bounty of the harvest not just throughout the High Holy Days, but on Shabbat throughout the year.
